Who are We?

The Jackson School of Martial Arts is a Governing Body for all Martial Arts Styles. We aim to provide Affordable Authentication of Clubs, Licensing and Certification in all Styles, Advice for Start Up Clubs and on going support for Instructors out there who want the best for their Martial Arts Schools.

We do this so that Students, Parents and Carers can have faith, trust and loyalty in all Clubs that hold our Kitemark!

We're committed to keeping the Standard of Teaching High whilst ensuring all Clubs adopt a Welcoming Environment for their Club!

The Jackson Schoool of Martial Arts all started with a simple idea. . .

It all started with our Manager Dan "deadly" Jackson

"There's a lacking in the Martial Arts world for High Standards and a Governing Body who actually works with and visits Clubs. For over 2 decades I have seen how Kickboxing, Martial Arts and Fitness can benefit those who take part and I strongly believe that Martial Arts is for everyone!

Having successfully opened my own Kickboxing School it's time I turned my attention to working with other Clubs to ensure the standard of teaching remains high 100% of the time.

I've painstakingly written a Grading Syllabus, Policies, Procedures and Safe Guarding Advice I want to pass this onto other Clubs and show how it can be done whilst keeping the standards of teaching high. I want to provide something that doesn't exist, that's Information, Guidance, Policies, Certification and Club Audits for a low fixed fee! I for one believe The Jackson School of Martial Arts can provide this!

I have trained under a variety of Instructors, some in it for Profit, some who are drill sergants, others who genuinely have no idea what they're doing and one who refused to honour my grade and told me to start again or pay £500.00 and he would honour my Grade! This is NOT what I want to see at any club! We ensure that our Clubs are fun, welcoming, engaging and pressure free ensuring that everyone returns for another session getting that buzz for Martial Arts that I have had for more than 20years!

When I first set up my Club it was an absolute minefield but it was also shocking to discover that just about anyone can open a Club with little to no experience or qualifications. JSMA ensure that all Clubs affiliated with us are qualified, licensed and experienced to deliver the Ultimate Martial Arts Experience.
